My HomeDry received an emergency call from a commercial client after employees reported water dripping from the suspended ceiling during normal business hours. A pressurised heating pipe located within the ceiling void had failed, allowing heated system water to escape unnoticed above the suspended ceiling.
By the time the leak was isolated, a significant quantity of water had saturated ceiling tiles before entering the open-plan office below — affecting partition walls, commercial carpet tiles and several workstation areas. To minimise business interruption, My HomeDry attended the site promptly.

Following isolation of the heating system, damaged ceiling tiles and saturated insulation were carefully removed, computer equipment protected and standing water extracted from the carpeted areas.

Commercial dehumidification and targeted air movement
Following extraction and moisture mapping, a commercial structural drying programme was installed. The dehumidifier was positioned centrally within the affected office to maximise moisture extraction, while air movers were positioned to circulate air beneath desks, across the carpet tiles and towards the affected wall and ceiling area.
