Water damage drying records and claim documentation
A summary of the information we may provide during and after a water damage instruction. The exact documentation on any instruction is agreed at the outset and depends on the requirements of the customer or appointed claims professional.

- Moisture maps showing extent of affected materials
- Affected-area schedules
- Equipment schedules and positioning notes
- Monitoring records during the drying programme
- Progress photographs at intervals
- Notes concerning additional findings
- Proposed variation recommendations
- Completion readings
- Completion summary
- Reinstatement recommendations
- Invoices against the agreed scope
Drying completion information does not provide a structural warranty, guarantee against future leaks or confirmation concerning matters outside the assessed water-damage incident. Where the incident involves matters beyond drying — such as building repair, contamination assessment or legal determinations — separate specialist input is required.
Terminology: we provide drying records, moisture data and completion information. We do not describe every document as a formal expert report, and we do not issue documents under names that imply a certification My HomeDry does not hold.
Insurance coverage, claim approval and payment are determined by the insurer under the terms of the individual policy. My HomeDry cannot guarantee that any work or cost will be covered.
