Insurance & Claims

Professional water damage support for insurance claims

My HomeDry provides assessment, structural drying, moisture monitoring and claim documentation for policyholders, insurers, loss adjusters and claims handlers across the East and West Midlands.

Policyholders

I am a policyholder

We can assess the water damage, prepare a suitable drying plan, monitor progress and share relevant information with you and any appointed claims professionals. Where the incident is ongoing, contact us as soon as possible.

Claims professionals

I am referring a claim

Insurers, loss adjusters, loss assessors, claims handlers and claims-management companies can submit residential and commercial water-damage enquiries using the claim and professional referral form.

Submitting a referral provides My HomeDry with the information required to review the incident. Attendance, scope and next steps are confirmed separately.

How we can support a water damage instruction

The exact scope and documentation provided will depend on the nature of the instruction, the property, the extent of damage and the requirements agreed with the customer or appointed claims professional.

  • Initial triage of the incident
  • Site assessment and photographic records
  • Moisture readings and moisture mapping
  • Identification of affected areas and materials
  • Recommended drying scope
  • Equipment installation and monitoring visits
  • Progress records and variation communication
  • Completion information and reinstatement recommendations
  • Clear invoicing and communication with stakeholders

Insurance coverage, claim approval and payment are determined by the insurer under the terms of the individual policy. My HomeDry cannot guarantee that any work or cost will be covered.

Working with professional clients

What professional clients can expect

The scope, reporting requirements and communication arrangements are agreed according to the individual instruction. Where professional contacts are authorised to participate, the following approach may form part of the agreed service.

  • Clear communication with a defined point of contact
  • Proportionate, evidence-based recommendations
  • Documented moisture readings and drying progress
  • Escalation of unexpected findings before scope changes
  • Respectful communication with occupants and residents
  • Coordination with site contacts and appointed professionals
  • Clear invoicing against agreed scope
  • Confidential handling of claim and property information
