Leaking Radiator Water Damage

Radiator leaks may come from valves, pipe connections, corrosion or concealed heating pipework. A small heating-system leak can repeatedly wet flooring and skirting, while a larger failure may affect the room below.

My HomeDry assesses the building damage after a heating engineer or plumber has isolated and repaired the fault.

Flooring around radiators

Water can travel beneath carpet, laminate, engineered timber and skirting before becoming visible. Edge swelling or staining may not show the full affected area.

Heating systems and hot water

The repair and safety of the heating system remain the responsibility of an appropriately qualified contractor. My HomeDry deals with the resulting moisture and material damage.

Ceilings below the leak

Upper-floor radiator leaks can affect floor voids, insulation and the ceiling below. Both levels should be assessed.
