Appliance Leak Drying

Appliance leaks can be sudden or remain concealed behind fitted units for an extended period. Washing machines, dishwashers, fridge water lines, water softeners and waste connections can affect flooring, kitchen units, adjacent rooms and ceilings below.

My HomeDry assesses the visible and concealed water route, records moisture conditions and plans extraction, access and drying after the appliance has been isolated and the fault repaired.

Slow leaks behind fitted units

A small connection or waste leak may repeatedly wet the same area without producing standing water. Signs include swollen plinths, staining, odour, lifted flooring or damage in the room below.

Kitchen units and floor finishes

Kickboards and selected panels may need removal for inspection. Units are not automatically dismantled; the decision depends on access, swelling, contamination and the floor construction.

Adjacent rooms and floors below

Water can follow joints and service penetrations into hallways, utility rooms or ceilings beneath the appliance. The survey should extend beyond the obvious source area.
